Nau mai, haere mai Kaipātiki Hot Springs

Where whānau, friends and visitors come to connect and unwind.

Welcome to Kaipātiki Hot Springs

Welcome to Kaipātiki Hot Springs, formerly named Parakai Springs. Located in the heart of the Parakai township, approximately 45km northwest of central Auckland towards the Kaipara Harbour.

Kaipātiki Hot Springs provides access to the geothermal springs in the Parakai settlement, known to local Ngāti Whātua ki Kaipara as Te Awa Kahawai. The waters at Kaipātiki Hot Springs are naturally heated from the earth’s core and are rich in minerals that create relaxing, spa-like experiences for all guests and whānau (families).

The natural wonder of the geothermal waters makes for an unforgettable water play experience for tamariki (children) with indoor and outdoor pools, two thrilling hydro-slides, private spas, an adults-only pool, and a heated open-air pool with a beach-style area. In addition, picnic spaces, marquee hire, BBQs, and a welcoming café, make Kaipātiki Hot Springs the ideal summer destination for all.

Parakai Springs has been renamed as Kaipātiki Hot Springs to strengthen the unique character of the Kaipātiki rohe (region). Kaipātiki Hot Springs will offer an enhanced wellness and water play experience, grounded in local whakapapa and whenua.
